  • Next Seasons Griz Team

The one and only reason there was any uptick in this program was Dalton Sneed, hes a winner, a leader and an above average QB. He will be gone next season and nobody on the roster to replace him or what he brings to this team.

Garrett Graves is the only QB we have that has much upside, we have seen what Humphries brings to the table and we sure as hell dont want seconds.

We dont lose much else on offense that cant be replaced, JLM is gone and we need to find a slot receiver since its semi doubtful Sulser returns and plays football, hes a smart kid and should put his health first. Sirmon meh hes just another below average OL guy that we have several of. (ie Longoria, Villanueva, Eickmeyer) Definitely need to improve on the OL but we have been saying that for a decade and nothings changed. Bingham is gone but easily replaced by Deming

Defense we lose Sims, Olson Sandry, Eaton, Hemphill, Fa'atuiese, Foster and Calhoun.

We can replace everyone but Sims and Olson and probably with better talent especially at safety need McGinnis to step up and be the guy opposite of Fouch at FS so we have legit D1 players with size and speed in the secondary. Fouch is gonna be special if he sticks around.

Next year is a building year and we are at least 2 years away from seeing what Hauck can really do with his players and his culture. Sorry to burst you bubbles but this next season is going to be tough (as tough as the BSC can be) and will more than likely end with another loss to the average cats since we wont have a QB.

Griz need a SERIOUS upgrade in OL and DL to even get close to being a legit FCS team. Then we need depth at those positions which we havent had in about a decade. This years recruiting class needs to be great and we need to keep Ashton Kroy committed he is gonna be good.

Just amazing what a scandal, an over reaction to a scandal and a couple of bad hires will do.... The talent on that 2011 Griz team was infinitely better than anything recently. It will take time to get back to that level...

The QB situation should be interesting. I agree that Sneed will be missed, especially in leadership characteristics. I’m unfamiliar with Graves. What is it that makes you think he has the most upside of the qbs currently on the roster? Do you believe the staff will search for another transfer qb that is capable of playing right away?

Grabes is more athletic and makes plays I think he has a slightly better arm than Humphrey. Neither of them are Sneed

Yes the staff should get another QB because it's gonna be the biggest loss next season. When you have a good or great OL you can have an average QB and they will look good behind a great line.

You need an above average QB with a weak OL like ours. We don't have that guy on the roster unless people make big strides over the year.
